school is finally finished for the year. afton cried when she came home because she will miss her teacher so much.

we've stocked up on summer gear, except for the silver flip-flops ella was dying to have. i could not convince her that 5 pairs of flip-flops were enough. but be proud of me, i did not give in! (this is a first)
that's probably why she fell asleep at 6pm...the 30 minute tantrum in the gap, wiped her out.

Good for you! It's so hard to not give into the silver flip flops. Taylor and I had the exact same situation for high wedged flip flops. She has her Auntie Amy's sense of style, I'm sure I'll see safety pins linked up her shirt next. What a girl to do? Love you
