the girls had their mid-winter break this past week and here are some of the things we did.
afton had a few girls over to do a valentine craft and decorate cookies. somehow it turned into a slumber party and pure craziness. fun fun fun.
we went to lunch and to the lov'n clay paint-your-own-pottery studio with friends. lucky us, it happened to be fat tuesday and we got beads at the restaurant!

ella purchased it at the children's museum the other day with her hard-earned cash.

afton kicked off the vacation with a valentine party at school. we also went to see the princess and the frog with friends. i was surprised by how much i liked the movie. i especially loved princess tiana's restaurant dream sequence with the fantastic dress she's sporting.
it's so great to have fun friends to spend our days with. wishing all our friends were in one place instead of scattered throughout the united states.
