after a less than delicious dinner (tried a new recipe) i said i was sorry it was a disappointing dinner. quietly, afton said, "for the second day in a row".
we had chicken curry last night, but a different recipe than usual and tonite was potato leek soup with kielbasa and a new specialty...rock biscuits. rock biscuits are simply pillsbury biscuits left in the oven far too long. i tried to give them a "fun" name to disguise their awfulness, but no one had any fun.
That is super funny! I have meant to comment on your past two blogs as well. I love the one where you went to Ryan's work you all look pretty nerdy, but I still love you regardless. The post previous to this one proves your nerdyness, wanting to dust the tree! You crazy girl! I miss you guys already!
I think "rock biscuits" sound yummy and your soup sounds like Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden. I would have loved it. However, Aftie's comment was pretty funny (I can just see her face)

You guys are the greatest! I love that you can laugh at each other and have fun with life, that is the best "coping mechanism" I know of. Mom H
